Sterokem introduced Sterox, a non-foaming, non-chlorine alkaline cleaning powder developed for use in the wine industry. Sterox is a multipurpose cleaning powder and not classified as a hazardous chemical. The supplier reports the powder has good solubility and can be used on processing equipment, fermentation tanks and to clean winery floors and walls.
Western Pulp Products Co., reports its Vintner’s Choice two-bottle wine shipper was designed to be an affordable option that can still withstand the rigors of direct shipping. The shipper is adjustable and can accommodate a full range of bottle shapes including wide-bodied Burgundy bottles.
