Invisible Sentinel, a company that develops molecular diagnostics for the food industry, announced its partnership with Jackson Family Wines to develop a quick test to detect the presence of the yeast Brettanomyces. The new assay will use Invisible Sentinel’s hand-held Veriflow analysis device that is already on the market to detect food spoilage microbes such as Salmonella and Listeria.
