Douglas Machine launched its Stratum line of robotic palletizers that dispense and convey pallets, manage case delivery, place slip and tier sheets and stack cases. The machines are designed to integrate with Douglas packing equipment.

Gusmer Enterprises released its new Crystalline Silica Free, CSF, filter series that is made with diatomaceous earth that has no crystalline silica or other impurities. According to Gusmer, the new CSF filters are safer to handle and have a more neutral effect on wine flavor and aromas. The filters come in a range of sizes and grades and can be used for coarse, clarifying or sterile filtration.
