Wonderful Nurseries is now shipping all of its potted vines in cotton ‘root socks.’ The supplier reports using the socks enable it to ship in heavier, recyclable pots and trays that can then be reused. According to the nursery, the socks eliminate pots and trays from fields during planting, save labor and money, and make unloading and planting quicker and easier.

The new To Go pouch features a wide-mouth for easy filling with an optional pilfer-proof cap, grip handle near the cap and a one-way tap that prevents oxygen ingress. The closure fits 30x60 BVS/BVP and 22X30 BVP bottle neck finishes and features a Saranex or tin barrier liner and can be used on automated bottling lines.
