Active Club Solutions introduced its new mobile iPad wholesale platform that enables winery staff to sell wine anywhere at any time. The new feature is integrated with the company’s iPad point of sale, wine club, e-commerce and multi-location inventory management systems, and allows staff to take wholesale orders anywhere and generate invoices or receive payments as well.

AEB’s Ctrl-Ferm system monitors a fermentation by detecting the amounts of carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulfide in the headspace of a tank. The system consists of a tube with sensors that is placed through the top hatch of a tank. The sensors constantly monitor CO2 and H2S levels and transmit data via SIM to a server that processes it and generates a plotted graph.

Flowcrete Americas launched Flowgard, a complementary line of coatings for use on walls and ceilings. The new range incorporates three abrasion and scratch-resistant, non-porous epoxy coating systems that can be further reinforced with fiberglass matting. According to the manufacturer, the coatings are resistant to chemicals and solvents and easy to clean and sanitize.

Global Package introduced the Clarior Doble Alto bottle, which is a new addition to its Estal line of bottles. The new bottle features “refined lines and a double base height that acts like a podium.” According to the supplier, the design of the bottle “increases a brand’s shelf presence without increasing the amount of glass used in manufacturing.

Lallemand released Reskue, an inactive yeast designed to help restart a stuck fermentation by eliminating short and medium chain fatty acids, SMCFA, and pesticide residues. Lallemand developed the product by treating a specific yeast strain with an autolysis process that yielded cell walls with enhanced sorption capacities.
