Free Flow Wines is now offering canning services at its Napa, Calif., facility. The company, which primarily provides wine in keg services, invested in new equipment to can wine, cider, sake and sparkling wine.
McCrometer unveiled its FlowConnect device that automates data collection for the McPropeller and Water Specialties meters. The FlowConnect features built-in, wireless communications to transmit irrigation flow data and eliminates the need for cables, pole mounting and other costs.

Emmeti USA’s released its new “Wax-On” machine to automate the bottle dipping process for wax finishes. The machine robotically dips bottles for a consistent finish with either a glossy or matte wax finish. Bottles enter through an infeed conveyor and picked up by the machine that then dips the bottles.
Innergation is a nutrient and water deliver system developed by grower Rick Adams for his Sonoma County vineyard. The system is comprised of a clip that fits on 13 and 14-gauge wire that holds the proper position for one to two “spaghetti” style drip-tubes to deliver water to a precise location or event above hillside vines using a 90° loop.
Intercap is now offering Bistra Printing, which it describes as “the first no-limits printing system” for capsules.
Vivelys introduced an updated version of its Cilyo device that is designed to help winemakers understand the oxygen potential of red must and white and rosé juice. The Cilyo determines the oxygen capacity of a juice and that allows a winemaker to add it early in a controlled manner to prevent any issues from premature oxidation.
