Blue Ventures Wine Marketing, LLC has been appointed the sales and marketing company for Madrigal Vineyards in the United States. Madrigal Vineyards, run by a third generation Napa Valley wine family, is focused on producing small lot, estate wines – at consumer friendly prices.

The new DAYLube grease uses nanoceramic particles that act as sub-microscopic ball bearings to provide continuous lubrication to steel surfaces. According to the manufacturer, the lubricant is especially suited for use with fork lifts, lift trucks and other material handling devices.

Design firm HOST Studios introduces its “deluxe” aerator that allows a user to control the amount of oxygen by adjusting the tilt of the bottle during a pour.
A shallow tilt of 0 to 45 degrees is ideal for lighter wines needing less oxygen while a steep tilt of 45-90 degrees is recommended for wines that could benefit from more aeration.

The Pour ‘N Save device is designed to ensure pouring accuracy. The gauge can be adjusted for either tasting amounts or full glass pours. “Measuring wine saves you at least $1 for every over pour,” said inventor Howie Sunbnick in a statement.

Harbortouch released a new version of its free point of sale system designed for retail wine, beer and liquor sales. A key function of the new system is an age verification process that prompts cashiers to ask for consumer identification. The system can also differentiate between single drinks and multi-packs at check-out.

Fairfield, Calif.-based glass company Demptos announced it is offering a new line of glass wine bottles made in China. The new line of bottles will feature 14 molds available in three colors: antique, dead-leaf and flint.

DR Power Equipment released the DR Versa-Trailer ½-Ton, a smaller, version of the company’s commercial utility dump trailer designed for light duty hauling. The trailer is designed to work with an ATV, UTV or compact tractor and has a carrying capacity of 1,000 pounds.
