Barrel produced with no fire or smoke
Vinéa Cooperage developed a barrel made with a new production process the company claims does not involve fire or smoke. The cooper’s new Eclat Hydro-Ceramic barrel is made with staves bent using “vitalized water vapor.”

MyOenoScan, now available in the U.S. market, evaluates four primary properties of wines and transmits that data to a smartphone app. The device analyzes the wavelength absorption rates of a wine to determine its strength, tannin content, acidity and maturity.
