Tank staves for ‘barrel-like’ extraction
Oak Solutions Group added two new tank staves that it claims offer “the versatility of oak alternatives with the elegance and complexity of a barrel-like extraction.” The Cuvee No. 4 and No. 5 staves are produced with fine grain oak and toasted with an infrared process on only one side to provide greater complexity through two different surfaces for extraction.
‘Infusion’ aerator for winery wastewater
Airmaster Aerator unveiled its Turbo X-Treme, which is a 25HP floating aerator that can pump 5 million gallons of water per day. The company reports the new aerator is designed to provide winery digestion ponds with maximum mixing and raised dissolved oxygen levels, while reducing odors and lowering electrical consumption and the overall cost of operation.
UPM Raflatac introduced its 60# Raflacoat Premium product rage in the Americas market. The material features a 60# semi-gloss face paper paired with a variety of adhesives and liners to “help products pop on the shelf.”
Remote access controller for filtration system
Yardney partnered with irrigation management systems supplier Hortau to produce the SynergyPlus remote access controller for water filtration systems.

AB Mauri released Mauriferm Gold, a nutrient for improving fermentation and reducing the risk of stuck and sluggish fermentation.
Automatic potentiometric titrator
Hanna Instruments released its HI901C automatic potentiometric titrator that it says was “designed with simplicity and focus in mind.”
