Rice joins Terra Blanca

Terra Blanca Winery and Estate Vineyard in Benton City, Wash., has appointed Darrell Rice as new national sales director. Rice was formerly a district manager for Fosters Wine Estates, covering Washington and Alaska.

Cowhorn cuts carbon footprint

Cowhorn, the Rogue wine country’s only Biodynamic estate, is partnering with Wine Bottle Renew to pioneer The RINSE Project, a bioregional program that closes the loop on wine bottle waste. Cowhorn will be the first Southern Oregon winery to ship used bottles through The RINSE Project and intends to source from Wine Bottle Renew for future bottlings.

Raptor Ridge nests in Chehalem

Raptor Ridge Winery announces a new location in the North Willamette Valley. This permanent home in Newberg, Ore., is surrounded by an estate vineyard located 13 miles from downtown Portland. Construction of the 9,400-square-foot facility commenced in October 2009.
