Okanagan has GPS wine tour
Visitors to British Columbia wine trails can use a new tool. The GyPSy Guide Okanagan Wine Tour presents a self-drive tour guided by a global positioning system (GPS). The tour "speaks" at precise locations, describing points of interest, regions and wine styles. The guide can be rented from visitor centers in Kelowna, Penticton or Osoyoos, and dropped off at any of the centers. For details, visit gpstourscanada.com.

Batchelor joins Maryhill
Richard Batchelor, previously with Napa Valley's Hall Winery, was appointed winemaker at Maryhill Winery, Goldendale, Wash. Maryhill was named 2009 Washington Winery of the Year by Wine Press Northwest and Best Destination Winery by Seattle Magazine.
