WAWGG elects board, officers
Kennewick, Wash.—The Washington Association of Wine Grape Growers elected John Derrick of Mercer Canyons and re-elected Ken Lewis of Trail View Farm and Patrick Rawn of Two Mountain Winery to serve three year terms on the nine member board.
Derrick is the vice president of vineyard operations for Mercer Canyons in Prosser where he has worked for 23 years. Lewis is a Certified Public Accountant and worked for several different companies before returning to his family's farm in Prosser to manage 600 acres of crops that include 120 acres of wine grapes. Rawn owns and operates Two Mountain Winery and Copeland Vineyard in Yakima Valley with his brother.
WAWGG members also elected Todd Newhouse of Upland Vineyards as chair, Rawn as vice chair and Lewis as secretary and treasurer.
