Hat Ranch to buy Vale Wine Co. in Idaho
The owners of Hat Ranch Winery in Caldwell, Idaho announced their purchase of the Vale Wine Co., also in Caldwell. John Danielson will remain the winemaker at Vale, which he founded in 2008, and consulting winemaker at Hat Ranch where he has worked since the winery opened in 2011. Wines from both companies will be sold and served out of the Hat Ranch Winery tasting room after the sale, which is expected to close at the start of 2014.
