Fenn Valley first in Michigan to launch canned wine
Fennville, Mich.—Fenn Valley Vineyards invested in canning equipment and claims to be the first Michigan winery launching a canned wine. The family owned winery launched Vino Blanco in 375 ml cans and plans to offer canning services to other Michigan wineries. The new wine brand will initially be distributed to retailers in Michigan and Illinois.
“Within the last year, we have noticed a tremendous increase in canned wine, both in terms of production and customer requests,” said Brian Lesperance, vice president of Fenn Valley Vineyards in a press release. “As a progressive estate winery, we knew we needed to jump on this trend, and are now the first winery in Michigan to offer equipment to support the production of canned wine.”
