Wasco, Calif.—Utilizing the capabilities of its new, in-house laboratory, Vintage Nurseries announced it is now providing 100% scion testing of the supplier’s internal mother blocks for all known grape viruses and pathogens, Pierce’s Disease and Red Blotch. The company also plans to soon add fungal and bacterial testing at its laboratory that uses quantitative polymerase chain reaction (aPCR) analysis.
