Napa, Calif.—Savos Compliance, the Boston-based parent company of ShipCompliant, has acquired WineDirect’s compliance division. ShipCompliant has taken over the operation of the WineDirect Compliance platform, and clients that are currently using it either directly, or through a subscription to Vin65 Plus, can continue to use the tool without interruption.

ShipCompliant has also assumed the regulatory maintenance of the WineDirect Compliance platform. Wineries using WineDirect Compliance now have the option of creating an account on the ShipCompliant platform.

Wines & Vines and ShipCompliant developed a model to track direct-to-consumer shipments. Data collected from this model are part of the regular wine industry metrics reports by Wine Vines Analytics.
