Rutherford, Calif.—Joe Wagner, the founder and winemaker of the Belle Glos and Meiomi Pinot Noir brands, announced the formation of his new wine company Copper Cane Wines & Provisions. The new company will be the home of Meiomi, which it projects to sell more than 500,000 cases this year. Copper Cane also plans to release a Meiomi Chardonnay as well as Elouan an Oregon Pinot Noir and Carne Humana a red blend from Napa Valley.
