Wasco, Calif.—Vintage Nurseries, which claims to be the largest grapevine nursery in North America, changed its name to Wonderful Nurseries. The nursery is part of the Wonderful Company’s portfolio of agricultural businesses including Pom Wonderful, Wonderful Pistachios & Wonderful Almonds, Justin Vineyards & Winery, Landmark Wines and others.

Wonderful has invested $25 million in the nursery to build a new greenhouse that has a capacity of 8 million vines as well as an advanced screening process and positive/negative air pressure at doorways and building connections to prevent pest entry. A new laboratory also provides further quality control and assurance testing.
