St. Helena, Calif.—Tuck Beckstoffer and his wife Boo have purchased the Dancing Hares Winery and Vineyard. The purchase includes a 20-acre estate vineyard, winery, brands and inventory. Paula Brooks and Bob Cook founded the vineyard in 2003 and built the winery in 2009. Brooks and Cook listed the property and 30-acre parcel for more than $26 million, but the Beckstoffers did not include a purchase price in their announcement. Tuck Beckstoffer is the son of Andy Beckstoffer who is the founder and owner of Beckstoffer Vineyards.

The Beckstoffers will also use the winery to produce wines for the Tuck Beckstoffer Wines portfolio. The Beckstoffers hired Philippe Melka as winemaker and will continue to work with consultants Michel Rolland and Frederick Delivert.
