Washington’s Woodinville Wine Country elected Mike Stevens, managing partner of Brian Carter Cellars, as president. Stevens was elected by the association board following the resignation of Becky Snyder, co-owner of Hollywood Hill Vineyards. Stevens will finish Snyder’s term as president, serving through December 2011. Snyder resigned from the board to accept a marketing position outside the wine industry. Two Vines debuts new packaging
The 2 million-case Columbia Crest Winery of Paterson, Wash., introduced new packaging for its Two Vines tier, starting with 2009 Two Vines Cabernet Sauvignon and 2009 Two Vines Merlot-Cabernet blend. Two Vines refers to Columbia Crest’s method of bilateral trellising. Visit: columbia-crest.com.
