The board of directors of the Classic Wines Auction, Portland, Ore., has hired Virginia Hensen as chief executive officer of its non-profit corporation, First Growth Children and Family Charities Inc., which raises millions of dollars for local charities through its annual auction and other charitable initiatives.

British Columbia wineries pick director
Miles Prodan joins The British Columbia Wine Institute board of directors as its new executive director. Prodan served a five-year tenure at the Thompson Okanagan Tourism Association, where he was executive director and, most recently, international market development specialist.
