Washington festival raised $1.4 million
The 17th annual Washington Wines Festival Wine Weekend drew more than 300 guests to Carnation, Wash., and raised in excess of $1.4 million for Camp Korey, the Association of Hole in the Wall Camps and the Washington Wines Education Foundation. See Ya Later says good-bye, hello
See Ya Later Ranch, Okanagan Falls, B.C., demolished its old wooden winemaking building in August. It will be replaced by a new metal building disguised as a barn to complement the old homestead that houses the wine shop for the 25,000-case-per-year winery.
Click extends its reach
Seattle-based Click Wholesale Distributing Inc., specialist in fine wine and craft beer, will now serve the Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho markets, operating out of Spokane, Wash., and Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.

New winemaker for Agate Ridge
B. Kiley Evans has joined Agate Ridge Vineyard, Eagle Point, Ore., as winemaker. He takes over at the 3,500-case winery from Will Brown, who is retiring. Previously, Evans was winemaker at Abacela Winery in Roseburg, Ore.
Rudin joins Cadaretta
Brian Scott Rudin was hired as assistant winemaker at Cadaretta, Walla Walla, Wash., where he'll support winemaker and project manager Virginie Bourgue. He has a degree from the Institute of Enology and Viticulture at Walla Walla Community College and experience at Zefina and L'Ecole N° 41.
