McMinnville, Ore.—Linfield College is offering a new wine immersion course this summer as part of its wine education program.The immersion course is open to Linfield students interested in exploring the wine industry, as well as students from other colleges and universities and to members of the public interested to learn more about the Oregon wine industry. The eight-week program begins on June 14 and includes a series of field trips to local vineyards and wineries. In addition to meetings with wine industry experts, the visits will include hands-on experiences in the various aspects of grape growing, winemaking, marketing, sales and hospitality.
