Lots of sparking wine recommendations this week, including a review of California sparkling wines by Bill Daley in the Chicago Tribune. In the San Francsico Chronicle, Jon Bonne names Peay Vineyards his winery of the year, and offers a fine profile of the winery and its principals. And Howard Goldberg, in the New York Times, has nice things to say for a number of current release wines from wineries on Long Island. JG
