Gil Kulers, writing in the Atlanta Journal Constitution, finds much to like touring Paso Robles, especially compared to Napa Valley, which he takes to task for its excesses. In the San Jose Mercury News, columnist Laurie Daniel finds many good value California Chardonnays, while on the other coast, columnists Gaiter and Brecher of the Wall Street Journal are pleased with the Bourgogne Blanc selections they tasted this week.
