Sparkling wine selections overflow in numerous columns this week, with much attention paid to those from unusual sources. Best examples are the selections of columnists Gaiter and Brecher at the Wall Street Journal, and the San Francisco Chronicle, where wine editor Jon Bonne takes a detailed look at sparkling wines from every corner of the globe while the tasting panel lauds offereings from Roederer Estate and Bollinger.
