Summer selections abound, with Riesling and rose wines getting lots of well-deserved attention. On the Riesling front, Laurie Daniel, of the San Jose Mercury News, reports from the first 'Riesling Rendezvous' held at Chateau Ste. Michelle in Washington. Rose wines are the subject of a fine column in the Washington Post by writers Karen Page and Andrew Dornenburg.
