On the other coast, San Jose Mercury News wine columnist Laurie Daniel reports on a recent tasting of Petite Sirah wines. And the Seattle Times this week announces a new wine column duo - Maggie Savarino and Andy Perdue, with the first 'Grapevine' column coming next week. JG
