Wine columnist Eric Asimov, writing the the New York Times, takes a look at current release Chenin Blanc wines from South Africa and comes away a bit disappointed, despite finding a gem or two. On the other coast, the San Francisco Chronicle's Jon Bonne offers notes on many white wines from Greece that are well worth discovering. And wine blogger Ed McCarthy (Wine Review Online) tastes through many rose wines from Provence and recommends several for summer sipping. JG
