At Zephyr Express, we strive to provide our clients with fine wine delivery and transportation that is both timely and accurate. Zephyr Express was started in 1985 in North Hollywood, California, with just a single truck delivering wine for distributors to the retail trade in the Los Angeles area. A classic start-up in the fine California tradition, we started on a shoestring budget but all the while boasted a commitment to excellence and customer service. It was a tough, competitive business, but by 2003 the operation had expanded into 12 routes covering greater Los Angeles, Orange County, and down to San Diego.
Over the next 10 years, the company expanded into Northern California through various acquisitions and restructurings and became a statewide operation. New facilities were opened to best serve the respective market areas and a sophisticated logistics network was developed and refined with Excellence in Fine Wine Delivery as our guiding principle.
Today, Zephyr Express provides the only branded, California statewide delivery network in our market category, with our highly recognizable fleet of modern delivery trucks (in the distinctive Zephyr Express burgundy color and 'compass' logo), delivering fine wines, spirits, and craft beer for importers, distributors, brokers, and suppliers.
