Fresno State's viticulture and enology program is known throughout the world for its excellent academic and research programs. The department offers undergraduate and graduate degrees, minors, and a certificate program and has earned a reputation for producing quality students through its hands-on approach to learning. Our unique on-campus facilities include 120 acres of vineyards and a commercial winery used for teaching and research. Many students enhance their academic careers by working for faculty research scientists on solution-driven research projects through the research center (VERC).
